Wholesome: Weekly Welcome Hub

Wholesome's Weekly is a welcome hub that runs every Wednesday and offers a warm, informal setting for local people to come together. Our sessions include relaxing and enjoyable activities, engaging talks on local topics and occasional events. Low cost refreshments, cake and light lunches are available and there’s no pressure to take part — just come along and feel welcome.

Drop in for a friendly, informal get-together. Take part in activities, listen to talks, join events or simply sit back with a hot drink and enjoy the atmosphere. Events have  included: Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Pampering, and Nordic walking. and many more. There is often a small charge or donation to pay.  Some costs apply depending on activity but all are free for those on Universal Credit.

We run a 'Chairfit' session each Wednesday at 10am and we are starting T'ai Chi sessions twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday.  First one to start Wednesday 7th October at 12:30pm.  Just turn up - cost £3 per session.

 

Who can use this service?

Everyone is welcome.

Some costs apply depending on activity but all are free for those on Universal Credit.

How are services delivered?

Face to face at Rowena Davey Centre, Chequers Lane, Dunmow, CM6 1EQ.

Every Wednesday 10am -2pm except on the 3rd Wednesday of each month when it is 12.30-2.00pm.
