Saffron Walden United Charites is an organisation formed to help people living in Saffron Walden (including Little Walden and Sewards End) in times of hardship and need. Priority will be given to maintaining families in their homes wherever possible. Resources can not be used to assist with debt incurred by bank overdraft, credit cards or other forms of personal loans. Cash donations are not available.

The Trustees meet in March, June, September and December to consider applications to help those in need, although we can hold interim meetings if an application is really urgent. A grant application form will be sent to the applicant once we establish that their enquiry is something we can help with.

Individuals or families in need who are resident in the town of Saffron Walden to include the hamlets of Little Walden and Sewards End.
How are services delivered?
Trustees will sometimes visit the applicants at home to discuss any needs.
