Project Prom

Project Prom aims to give every Year 11 student in Uttlesford the opportunity to attend their high school prom by providing pre-loved outfits free of charge to those in need. This includes Year 11 students attending Saffron Walden County High School, Joyce Frankland Academy, Forest Hall School and Helena Romanes school.

We accept referrals from schools on behalf of the student. Please submit the parent/guardian details in the 'contact details' of the referral and we will contact them directly to book the student (whose details are in the additional questions) onto one of our pop-up events.

We are very grateful for any donations of prom dresses/gowns, suits, shirts, shoes and accessories that are in good condition, these can be dropped off at Uttlesford Foodbank, Stansted House, Shire Hill Saffron Walden, CB11 3AQ during their opening times (Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 10am to 4pm, Tuesday and Thursday – 10am to 12pm).

Who can use this service?

This service is open to all Uttlesford students in year 11, whose family is facing financial hardship.

How are services delivered?

We will be holding pop up events across Uttlesford for students to attend with a parent/guardian to view and choose a dress/suit and accessories free of charge.
