Saffron Walden Community Pastors serve on our Streets; our Railways; our Events our Football Ground. If you need a bit of help to get you home safely, If you are struggling and you need to talk and offload with someone who cares, listens and is non-judgemental, we are here for you.

We are a Christian organisation offering practical help and emotional support. Community Pastors has to complete a wide range of training courses before being commissioned. Training covers physical, emotional and spiritual issues with diverse topics including, managing suicidal contacts, drugs awareness, first aid, mental health issues, safeguarding, listening skills,and all will have passed a DBS check.
On the Greater Anglia Rail Network every Wednesdays and Thursdays
On our streets every Friday night 7:30pm to 1:00am (every week finishing at at the Temeraire)
The first Saturday of each month we are at the Walden Community Link where we are a J9 Safe Space from 9:00am to 1:00pm
We attend home matches at Saffron Walden Football Club (The Bloods)
We visit events and community hubs, signpost to other local charities and organisations and support the Greater Anglia Rail Network looking out for those who are vulnerable. We talk with staff and those affected by suicides to offer emotional support.
