The Little Hut Under the Big Tree CIC
The Little Hut is an Equine Assisted Learning and wellbeing centre based just outside of Saffron Walden, Essex. We offer equine assisted learning and wellbeing sessions to a wide variety of people with varying wants and needs, specialising in children-young adults, with SEND or mental health difficulties. We provide the perfect setting for person-centered alternative education and wellbeing sessions, with each session tailored to individual needs. There is a charge for this service.

Through groundwork with the horses, animal care and other outdoor activities we create positive educational and emotional wellbeing outcomes. Please note we do not offer riding. We have CIC status and hope to offer funded spaces to eligible children. We work with Active Essex to run funded holiday clubs for eligible students. Please see our website for further details. Our Equine Assisted Learning Sessions are run on a 1:1 basis during term time, and are accessible through the local authority, through the school, or through private funding for home schooled children. There is a charge for this service - Taster session - £30ph - Wellbeing sessions - £40ph. For other charges, please visit the website.
