CraftAbility: Thaxted

We provide free creative activities in a pleasant and caring environment for the benefit of people who are either able-bodied or living with a physical disability. The centre is open to anyone in the local area who is lonely or isolated, or with an underlying health condition.

In recent years, members have knitted baby bonnets for the neo-natal unit at Addenbrookes, blankets for homeless people in Cambridge and blankets for Dunmow Stroke Club's Ukraine and Syria appeal.  All money raised from crafts sold goes back into supporting the centre.
