Cooking Workshops

FREE cooking sessions for parents with children age 7 and under. We provide courses for parents and children as part of the Early Years Foundation Stage of the statutory education framework. This includes the use of fruit and vegetables to demonstrate fractions, size, shape, and patterns through food preparation. The best thing of all is that what is prepared can then be eaten!

The mornings are run in a friendly casual atmosphere. Recipes and food ingredients are supplied along with aprons, hairnets (if necessary) and all utensils. We use a commercial kitchen but working with the children recipes will be prepared out of the kitchen.  You will be part of a small group so strict hygiene levels are required. Registration is necessary as spaces are limited.

Who can use this service?

The workshop sessions are suitable for those with over-stretched household budgets wanting to produce yummy, easy meals without breaking the bank.  Children are mainly 3-4 years in age, or up to age 7 if homeschooled.
