Essex Sexual Health Service

The Essex Sexual Health Service provides HIV & Sexual Health support, advice and testing in the local community. In Essex we offer HIV and Sexual Health testing (on site and by post), a condoms-by-post service, professionals training, community training, and health promotion.

The Point of Care Testing (POCT) clinics in Basildon, Harlow and Colchester are are run by the Essex Sexual Health Service’s Outreach and Education Team and offer HIV, Syphilis, Gonorrhoea and Chlamydia testing. Attending these clinics is by appointment only, so please phone 0300 003 1212 or email to book.

There are also Essex Sexual Health Clinics across Essex, in Harlow, Loughton, Chelmsford, Braintree, Rayleigh, South Woodham, Basildon, Colchester, Clacton and Harwich - click here to find out their exact locations.
