Enterprise East Group: Cafe Cornell - Tackling Hunger
If you are hungry and do not have the money to pay for food Cafe Cornell is able to provide a meal and drink for you free of charge, without judgement. Cafe Cornell staff can also provide help by signposting to additional support services in Uttlesford. To request a free meal and drink, please order a "Sandy's Special" and the rest will be taken care of for you.
This service can also be used to refer individuals to our #LetsEatTogether events at easter, christmas and other celebratory points where social isolation is most likely.
Who can use this service?
Uttlesford residents struggling to pay for food. A warm space and a hot drink available every week day.
How are services delivered?
In person at Cafe Cornell, Cornell Court, Smallbridge Road, Saffron Walden.
Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
