Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service (West)

On behalf of Essex County Council and the NHS, the HCRG Care Group and Barnardo’s provide a range of child and family services throughout Essex that are free at the point of delivery. We make sure that all children and young people aged pre-birth to 19 years in the West Essex area have the best possible start in life. Children, young people and their famlies can access a broad range of support in their community, school, family home or at our family hubs and delivery sites.

We can help with:

Parenting support
Support with child development and school readiness
Family health
Emotional wellbeing support
Support for children with special educuational needs and disabilities (SEND) up to the age of 25 years
Health and wellbeing support for school age children 5 - 19 years.

Who can use this service?

How are services delivered?

Any children young people and families 0-19 years, and those with SEND 0-25 years.

We deliver our services via phone, email, video, face-to-face, drop-ins and via schools and family homes and hubs/delivery hubs as well as in their community.
