Rowena Davey Centre: Coffee and lunch service
Conveniently located in central Dunmow, the Rowena Davey Centre offers a friendly and spacious environment in which to enjoy coffee, tea and homemade cakes or to stay for a freshly cooked excellent value two-course lunch for £8. This service is available each Tuesday and Thursday. To ensure a lunch booking, please telephone or email us. You can also pop along on a Tuesday or Thursday to book.

Who can use this service?
Anyone disabled or 55 years and over. The centre is also available for private hire, e.g. parties or group bookings and has a fully equipped commercial kitchen and nearby parking. This centre is fully accessible for users with disabilities.
How are services delivered?
The centre is open for coffee and meals each Tuesday and Thursday serving hot drinks, home baked cakes and home cooked lunches. A group of friendly and dedicated volunteers help serve customers making sure that everyone is made welcome and enjoys their time at the centre. Book in advance for meals when possible. If you just turn up you might be disappointed.
