Lions Short Term Appliance Loan Scheme

We provide wheelchairs, commodes, walking frames plus various other mobility and home aids on a short term basis - usually two months. It is intended to help those people that suddenly find that they need help following an injury or medical treatment and are in need of a short term loan of a wheelchair etc. We do not charge for this service but appreciate a donation when the items are returned so that we can replace damaged and worn out items as required.

We provide equipment on a temporary basis for two months while the long term solution is being arranged through the NHS or Social Services.
