Integration Support
We provide one-to-one support, advice, and guidance to asylum seekers, refugees, migrants and ethnically diverse communities in the West of Essex. Our mission is to aid in their successful integration into the local community, reduce isolation, and enhance opportunities for better employment and education. Additionally, we offer initial interpreting and translation services. We are also a hate crime report centre, offering assistance to those affected by such incidents.
We offer a variety of projects designed to support and enrich our community:
- Information, advice and guidance: Our trained case workers support individuals and families with a range of enquiries including benefits, housing, health provision, education, domestic abuse, hate crime, navigating life in the UK, employment and volunteering.
- Practical English Classes: These 12-week courses cover 12 everyday topics, helping learners build confidence and navigate UK services.
- Women's Conversation Club: This weekly club, held during school terms at Harlow ACL, provides a supportive space for women to connect, meet new people, and form friendships.
- Women's Health Club: This weekly club focuses on women's wellbeing, offering opportunities to stay active, try various sports, and enjoy healthy smoothies. Booking is essential due to limited capacity.
- Saturday Club: This weekly playgroup welcomes families with children aged 0-5 years.

How are services delivered?
Anyone from refugees, asylum seekers, migrants and other ethnically diverse communities are welcome to attend our clubs and social events.
All of our services are free of charges.

Via outreach, arrangements are made at our partner's venues or other suitable venues. We also meet clients in our office or our outreach sessions and we also support via telephone or Teams.
