RAD: Deaf Law Centre

RAD will offer free advice in the following areas: • Welfare Benefits • Debt • Housing. If you need advice about applying for benefits, worried about PIP, issues relating to your housing situation, bedroom tax, rent arrears, or any other debt issue, we can help.

Who can use this service?

How are services delivered?

If you or a member of your family is Deaf, you can now contact us via video link from CAB offices in Saffron Walden and Great Dunmow where you can talk to a caseworker in British Sign Language.
We can be contacted through webcam via CAB offices in Saffron Walden or Great Dunmow, or people can contact us from home via webcam, text chat, email, telephone, fax and post. An appointment can be made by webcam or a face to face appointment can be made in Harlow, where the service is based once a month.
